Would you really challenge my justice? Would you declare me guilty  to justify yourself?


Absolutely not!  Let God be true, even though everyone is a liar,  as it is written: That you may be justified in your words and triumph when you judge.   ,


And what if he did this to make known the riches of his glory  on objects of mercy  that he prepared beforehand for glory   #– #


And just as it is appointed for people to die once #– #and after this, judgement   #– #


For All flesh is like grass, and all its glory   like a flower of the grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls,


But these people, like irrational animals #– #creatures of instinct born to be caught and destroyed #– #slander what they do not understand, and in their destruction they too will be destroyed.
