Jonah 4 - King James Bible with Strong Numbers

H3415But it displeased[H8799] H3124JonahH1419exceedinglyH7451 H2734, and he was very angry[H8799] .

H6419And he prayed[H8691] H3068unto the LORDH559, and said[H8799] H577, I prayH3068thee, O LORDH1697, was not this my sayingH127, when I was yet in my countryH1272? Therefore I fled[H8800] H6923before[H8765] H8659unto TarshishH3045: for I knew[H8804] H2587that thou art a graciousH410GodH7349, and mercifulH750, slowH639to angerH7227, and of greatH2617kindnessH5162, and repentest[H8737] H7451thee of the evil.

H3068Therefore now, O LORDH3947, take[H8798] H5315, I beseech thee, my lifeH2896from me; for it is betterH4194for me to dieH2416than to live.

H559Then said[H8799] H3068the LORDH3190, Doest thou well[H8687] H2734to be angry[H8804] ?

H3124So JonahH3318went out[H8799] H5892of the cityH3427, and sat[H8799] H6924on the east sideH5892of the cityH6213, and there made[H8799] H5521him a boothH3427, and sat[H8799] H6738under it in the shadowH7200, till he might see[H8799] H5892what would become of the city.

H3068And the LORDH430GodH4487prepared[H8762] H7021a gourdH5927, and made it to come up[H8799] H3124over JonahH6738, that it might be a shadowH7218over his headH5337, to deliver[H8687] H7451him from his griefH3124. So JonahH1419was exceedingH8057 H8055glad[H8799] H7021of the gourd.

H430But GodH4487prepared[H8762] H8438a wormH7837when the morningH5927rose[H8800] H4283the next dayH5221, and it smote[H8686] H7021the gourdH3001that it withered[H8799] .

H8121And it came to pass, when the sunH2224did arise[H8800] H430, that GodH4487prepared[H8762] H2759a vehementH6921eastH7307windH8121; and the sunH5221beat[H8686] H7218upon the headH3124of JonahH5968, that he fainted[H8691] H7592, and wished[H8799] H5315in himselfH4191to die[H8800] H559, and said[H8799] H2896, It is betterH4194for me to dieH2416than to live.

H430And GodH559said[H8799] H3124to JonahH3190, Doest thou well[H8687] H2734to be angry[H8804] H7021for the gourdH559? And he said[H8799] H3190, I do well[H8687] H2734to be angry[H8804] H4194, even unto death.

H559Then said[H8799] H3068the LORDH2347, Thou hast had pity[H8804] H7021on the gourdH5998, for the which thou hast not laboured[H8804] H1431, neither madest it grow[H8765] H1121; which came up in a nightH3915 H6, and perished[H8804] H1121in a nightH3915 :

H2347And should not I spare[H8799] H5210NinevehH1419, that greatH5892cityH3426, wherein areH7235more[H8687] H8147than sixscoreH6240 H7239thousandH120personsH3045that cannot discern[H8804] H3225between their right handH8040and their left handH7227; and also muchH929cattle?
