Genesis 40 - King James Bible with Strong Numbers

H310And it came to pass afterH1697these thingsH8248, that the butler[H8688] H4428of the kingH4714of EgyptH644and his baker[H8802] H2398had offended[H8804] H113their lordH4428the kingH4714of Egypt.

H6547And PharaohH7107was wroth[H8799] H5921againstH8147twoH5631of his officersH8269, against the chiefH8248of the butlers[H8688] H8269, and against the chiefH644of the bakers[H8802] .

H5414And he put[H8799] H4929them in wardH1004in the houseH8269of the captainH2876of the guardH1004, into the prisonH5470 H4725, the placeH3130where JosephH631was bound[H8803] .

H8269And the captainH2876of the guardH6485charged[H8799] H3130JosephH8334with them, and he served[H8762] H3117them: and they continued a seasonH4929in ward.

H2492And they dreamed[H8799] H2472a dreamH8147both of themH376, each manH2472his dreamH259in oneH3915nightH376, each manH6623according to the interpretationH2472of his dreamH8248, the butler[H8688] H644and the baker[H8802] H4428of the kingH4714of EgyptH631, which were bound[H8803] H1004in the prisonH5470 .

H3130And JosephH935came in[H8799] H1242unto them in the morningH7200, and looked[H8799] H2196upon them, and, behold, they were sad[H8802] .

H7592And he asked[H8799] H6547Pharaoh'sH5631officersH4929that were with him in the wardH113of his lord'sH1004houseH559, saying[H8800] H6440, Wherefore lookH7451ye so sadlyH3117to day?

H559And they said[H8799] H2492unto him, We have dreamed[H8804] H2472a dreamH6622, and there is no interpreter[H8802] H3130of it. And JosephH559said[H8799] H6623unto them, Do not interpretationsH430belong to GodH5608? tell me[H8761]  them, I pray you.

H8269And the chiefH8248butler[H8688] H5608told[H8762] H2472his dreamH3130to JosephH559, and said[H8799] H2472to him, In my dreamH1612, behold, a vineH6440was before me;

H1612And in the vineH7969were threeH8299branchesH6524: and it was as though it budded[H8802] H5322, and her blossomsH5927shot forth[H8804] H811; and the clustersH1310thereof brought forth ripe[H8689] H6025grapes:

H6547And Pharaoh'sH3563cupH3027was in my handH3947: and I took[H8799] H6025the grapesH7818, and pressed[H8799] H6547them into Pharaoh'sH3563cupH5414, and I gave[H8799] H3563the cupH6547into Pharaoh'sH3709hand.

H3130And JosephH559said[H8799] H6623unto him, This is the interpretationH7969of it: The threeH8299branchesH7969are threeH3117days:

H5750YetH7969within threeH3117daysH6547shall PharaohH5375lift up[H8799] H7218thine headH7725, and restore[H8689] H3653thee unto thy placeH5414: and thou shalt deliver[H8804] H6547Pharaoh'sH3563cupH3027into his handH7223, after the formerH4941mannerH8248when thou wast his butler[H8688] .

H2142But think[H8804] H3190on me when it shall be well[H8799] H6213with thee, and shew[H8804] H2617kindnessH2142, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention[H8689] H6547of me unto PharaohH3318, and bring me[H8689] H1004out of this house:

H1589For indeed I was stolen away[H8795] H776out of the landH5680of the HebrewsH6213: and here also have I done[H8804] H3972nothingH7760that they should put[H8804] H953me into the dungeon.

H8269When the chiefH644baker[H8802] H7200saw[H8799] H6622that the interpretation[H8804] H2896was goodH559, he said[H8799] H3130unto JosephH637, I alsoH2472was in my dreamH7969, and, behold, I had threeH2751whiteH5536basketsH7218on my head:

H5945And in the uppermostH5536basketH3978there was of all mannerH4639of bakemeatsH644 [H8802] H6547for PharaohH5775; and the birdsH398did eat[H8802] H5536them out of the basketH5921uponH7218my head.

H3130And JosephH6030answered[H8799] H559and said[H8799] H6623, This is the interpretationH7969thereof: The threeH5536basketsH7969are threeH3117days:

H7969Yet within threeH3117daysH6547shall PharaohH5375lift up[H8799] H7218thy headH8518from off thee, and shall hang[H8804] H6086thee on a treeH5775; and the birdsH398shall eat[H8804] H1320thy flesh from off thee.

H7992And it came to pass the thirdH3117dayH6547, which was Pharaoh'sH3117birthdayH3205 [H8715] H6213, that he made[H8799] H4960a feastH5650unto all his servantsH5375: and he lifted up[H8799] H7218the headH8269of the chiefH8248butler[H8688] H8269and of the chiefH644baker[H8802] H8432amongH5650his servants.

H7725And he restoredH8269the chiefH8248butler[H8688] H4945unto his butlershipH7725again[H8686] H5414; and he gave[H8799] H3563the cupH6547into Pharaoh'sH3709hand:

H8518But he hanged[H8804] H8269the chiefH644baker[H8802] H3130: as JosephH6622had interpreted[H8804]  to them.

H8269Yet did not the chiefH8248butler[H8688] H2142remember[H8804] H3130JosephH7911, but forgat[H8799]  him.
