H3327And IsaacH6279intreated[H8799] H3068the LORDH5227forH802his wifeH6135, because she was barrenH3068: and the LORDH6279was intreated[H8735] H7259of him, and RebekahH802his wifeH2029conceived[H8799] .

H1121And the childrenH7533struggled together[H8704] H7130within herH559; and she said[H8799] H2088, If it be so, why am I thusH3212? And she went[H8799] H1875to enquire[H8800] H3068of the LORD.

H3068And the LORDH559said[H8799] H8147unto her, TwoH1471nationsH990are in thy wombH8147, and two mannerH3816of peopleH6504shall be separated[H8735] H4578from thy bowelsH3816; and the one peopleH553shall be stronger[H8799] H3816than the other peopleH7227; and the elderH5647shall serve[H8799] H6810the younger.

H3117And when her daysH3205to be delivered[H8800] H4390were fulfilled[H8799] H8380, behold, there were twinsH990in her womb.

H7223And the firstH3318came out[H8799] H132redH8181, all over like an hairyH155garmentH7121; and they called[H8799] H8034his nameH6215Esau.

H310And afterH3318that cameH251his brotherH3318out[H8804] H3027, and his handH270took hold[H8802] H6215on Esau'sH6119heelH8034; and his nameH7121was called[H8799] H3290JacobH3327: and IsaacH8346was threescoreH8141yearsH1121oldH3205when she bare[H8800]  them.

H5288And the boysH1431grew[H8799] H6215: and EsauH3045was a cunning[H8802] H6718hunterH376, a manH7704of the fieldH3290; and JacobH8535was a plainH376manH3427, dwelling[H8802] H168in tents.

H3327And IsaacH157loved[H8799] H6215EsauH6310, because he did eatH6718of his venisonH7259: but RebekahH157loved[H8802] H3290Jacob.

H3290And JacobH2102sod[H8686] H5138pottageH6215: and EsauH935came[H8799] H7704from the fieldH5889, and he was faint:

H6215And EsauH559said[H8799] H3290to JacobH3938, Feed[H8685] H4480me, I pray thee, withH122that sameH122redH5889pottage; for I am faintH8034: therefore was his nameH7121called[H8804] H123Edom.

H3290And JacobH559said[H8799] H4376, Sell[H8798] H3117me this dayH1062thy birthright.

H3290And JacobH559said[H8799] H7650, Swear[H8734] H3117to me this dayH7650; and he sware[H8735] H4376unto him: and he sold[H8799] H1062his birthrightH3290unto Jacob.

H3290Then JacobH5414gave[H8804] H6215EsauH3899breadH5138and pottageH5742of lentilesH398; and he did eat[H8799] H8354and drink[H8799] H6965, and rose up[H8799] H3212, and went his way[H8799] H6215: thus EsauH959despised[H8799] H1062his birthright.
