⁵ H2370I saw[H8754] H2493a dreamH1763which made me afraid[H8741] H2031, and the thoughtsH5922uponH4903my bedH2376and the visionsH7217of my headH927troubled[H8792]  me.

⁸ H5705But atH318the lastH1841DanielH5922came inH6925before meH8036, whose nameH1096was BelteshazzarH8036, according to the nameH426of my godH7308, and in whom is the spiritH6922of the holyH426godsH6925: and beforeH560him I told[H8754] H2493the dream, saying,

⁹ H1096O BelteshazzarH7229, masterH2749of the magiciansH576, because IH3046know[H8754] H7308that the spiritH6922of the holyH426godsH3606is in thee, and noH3809 H7328secretH598troubleth[H8750] H560thee, tell[H8747] H2376me the visionsH2493of my dreamH2370that I have seen[H8754] H6591, and the interpretation thereof.

¹⁰ H2376Thus were the visionsH7217of mine headH5922inH4903my bedH1934; I saw[H8754] H2370 [H8751] H431, and beholdH363a treeH1459in the midstH772of the earthH7314, and the heightH7690thereof was great.

¹¹ H363The treeH7236grew[H8754] H8631, and was strong[H8754] H7314, and the heightH4291thereof reached[H8748] H8065unto heavenH2379, and the sightH5491thereof to the endH3606of allH772the earth:

BelteshazzarH6032answered[H8750] H560and said[H8750] H4756, My lordH2493, the dreamH8131be to them that hate[H8750] H6591thee, and the interpretationH6146thereof to thine enemies.

²⁵ H2957That they shall drive[H8751] H4481thee fromH606menH4070, and thy dwellingH1934shall be[H8748] H5974withH2423the beastsH1251of the fieldH2939, and they shall make thee to eat[H8748] H6211grassH8450as oxenH6647, and they shall wet[H8743] H2920thee with the dewH8065of heavenH7655, and sevenH5732timesH2499shall passH5922overH5705thee, tillH3046thou know[H8748] H5943that the most HighH7990rulethH4437in the kingdomH606of menH5415, and giveth[H8748] H4479it to whomsoeverH6634he will[H8748] .

³⁰ H4430The kingH6032spake[H8750] H560, and said[H8750] H3809, Is notH1932thisH1668 H7229greatH895BabylonH576, that IH1124have built[H8754] H1005for the houseH4437of the kingdomH8632by the mightH2632of my powerH3367, and for the honourH1923of my majesty?

³¹ H5751WhileH4406the wordH4430was in the king'sH6433mouthH5308, there fell[H8754] H7032a voiceH4481fromH8065heavenH4430, saying, O kingH5020NebuchadnezzarH560, to thee it is spoken[H8750] H4437; The kingdomH5709is departed[H8754] H4481from thee.

³² H2957And they shall drive[H8751] H4481thee fromH606menH4070, and thy dwellingH5974shall be withH2423the beastsH1251of the fieldH2939: they shall make thee to eat[H8748] H6211grassH8450as oxenH7655, and sevenH5732timesH2499shall passH5922overH5705thee, untilH3046thou know[H8748] H5943that the most HighH7990rulethH4437in the kingdomH606of menH5415, and giveth[H8748] H4479it to whomsoeverH6634he will[H8748] .

³³ H8160The same hourH4406was the thingH5487fulfilled[H8754] H5922uponH5020NebuchadnezzarH2957: and he was driven[H8752] H4481fromH606menH399, and did eat[H8748] H6211grassH8450as oxenH1655, and his bodyH6647was wet[H8721] H2920with the dewH8065of heavenH5705, tillH8177his hairsH7236were grown[H8754] H5403like eaglesH2953' feathers, and his nailsH6853like birds' claws .

³⁴ H7118And at the endH3118of the daysH576IH5020NebuchadnezzarH5191lifted up[H8754] H5870mine eyesH8065unto heavenH4486, and mine understandingH8421returned[H8748] H5922unto meH1289, and I blessed[H8745] H5943the most HighH7624, and I praised[H8745] H1922and honoured[H8745] H2417him that livethH5957for everH7985, whose dominionH5957is an everlastingH7985dominionH4437, and his kingdomH5974is fromH1859generationH1859to generation:

³⁵ H3606And allH1753the inhabitants[H8748] H772of the earthH2804are reputed[H8752] H3809as nothingH5648: and he doeth[H8751] H6634according to his will[H8749] H2429in the armyH8065of heavenH1753, and among the inhabitants[H8748] H772of the earthH3809: and noneH383canH4223stay[H8741] H3028his handH560, or say[H8748] H4101unto him, WhatH5648doest[H8754]  thou?

³⁶ H2166At the same timeH4486my reasonH8421returned[H8748] H5922unto meH3367; and for the gloryH4437of my kingdomH1923, mine honourH2122and brightnessH8421returned[H8748] H5922unto meH1907; and my counsellorsH7261and my lordsH1156sought[H8748] H5922unto meH8627; and I was established[H8717] H4437in my kingdomH3493, and excellentH7238majestyH3255was added[H8717]  unto me.
