² H3060And JehoashH6213did[H8799] H3477that which was rightH5869in the sightH3068of the LORDH3117all his daysH3077wherein JehoiadaH3548the priestH3384instructed[H8689]  him.

³ H1116But the high placesH5493were not taken away[H8804] H5971: the peopleH2076still sacrificed[H8764] H6999and burnt incense[H8764] H1116in the high places.

⁴ H3060And JehoashH559said[H8799] H3548to the priestsH3701, All the moneyH6944of the dedicated thingsH935that is brought[H8714] H1004into the houseH3068of the LORDH3701, even the moneyH376of every oneH5674that passeth[H8802] H3701the account, the moneyH5315that every manH6187is set atH3701, and all the moneyH5927that cometh[H8799] H376into any man'sH3820heartH935to bring[H8687] H1004into the houseH3068of the LORD,

⁵ H3548Let the priestsH3947take[H8799] H376it to them, every manH4378of his acquaintanceH2388: and let them repair[H8762] H919the breachesH1004of the houseH919, wheresoever any breachH4672shall be found[H8735] .

⁶ H7969But it was so, that in the threeH8141 H6242and twentiethH8141yearH4428of kingH3060JehoashH3548the priestsH2388had not repaired[H8765] H919the breachesH1004of the house.

⁷ H4428Then kingH3060JehoashH7121called[H8799] H3077for JehoiadaH3548the priestH3548, and the other priestsH559, and said[H8799] H2388unto them, Why repair[H8764] H919ye not the breachesH1004of the houseH3947? now therefore receive[H8799] H3701no more moneyH4378of your acquaintanceH5414, but deliver[H8799] H919it for the breachesH1004of the house.

⁸ H3548And the priestsH225consented[H8735] H3947to receive[H8800] H1115noH3701more moneyH5971of the peopleH1115, neitherH2388to repair[H8763] H919the breachesH1004of the house.

⁹ H3077But JehoiadaH3548the priestH3947took[H8799] H259aH727chestH5344, and bored[H8799] H2356a holeH1817in the lidH5414of it, and set[H8799] H681it besideH4196the altarH3225, on the right sideH376as oneH935cometh[H8800] H1004into the houseH3068of the LORDH3548: and the priestsH8104that kept[H8802] H5592the doorH5414put[H8804] H3701therein all the moneyH935that was brought[H8716] H1004into the houseH3068of the LORD.

¹⁰ H7200And it was so, when they saw[H8800] H7227that there was muchH3701moneyH727in the chestH4428, that the king'sH5608scribe[H8802] H1419and the highH3548priestH5927came up[H8799] H6696, and they put up in bags[H8799] H4487, and told[H8799] H3701the moneyH4672that was found[H8737] H1004in the houseH3068of the LORD.

¹¹ H5414And they gave[H8804] H3701the moneyH8505, being told[H8794] H3027, into the handsH6213of them that did[H8802] H4399the workH6485, that had the oversight[H8716] [H8675] H6485 [H8803] H1004of the houseH3068of the LORDH3318: and they laid it out[H8686] H2796to the carpentersH6086 H1129and builders[H8802] H6213, that wrought[H8802] H1004upon the houseH3068of the LORD,

¹² H1443And to masons[H8802] H2672, and hewers[H8802] H68of stoneH7069, and to buy[H8800] H6086timberH4274and hewedH68stoneH2388to repair[H8763] H919the breachesH1004of the houseH3068of the LORDH3318, and for all that was laid out[H8799] H1004for the houseH2394to repair it .

¹³ H6213Howbeit there were not made[H8735] H1004for the houseH3068of the LORDH5592bowlsH3701of silverH4212, snuffersH4219, basonsH2689, trumpetsH3627, any vesselsH2091of goldH3627, or vesselsH3701of silverH3701, of the moneyH935that was brought[H8716] H1004into the houseH3068of the LORD:

¹⁴ H5414But they gave[H8799] H4399that to the workmenH6213 [H8802] H2388, and repaired[H8765] H1004therewith the houseH3068of the LORD.

¹⁵ H2803Moreover they reckoned[H8762] H582not with the menH3027, into whose handH5414they delivered[H8799] H3701the moneyH5414to be bestowed[H8800] H4399on workmenH6213: for they dealt[H8802] H530faithfully.

¹⁶ H817The trespassH3701moneyH2403and sinH3701moneyH935was not brought[H8714] H1004into the houseH3068of the LORDH3548: it was the priests'.

¹⁷ H2371Then HazaelH4428kingH758of SyriaH5927went up[H8799] H3898, and fought[H8735] H1661against GathH3920, and took[H8799] H2371it: and HazaelH7760set[H8799] H6440his faceH5927to go up[H8800] H3389to Jerusalem.

¹⁸ H3060And JehoashH4428kingH3063of JudahH3947took[H8799] H6944all the hallowed thingsH3092that JehoshaphatH3088, and JehoramH274, and AhaziahH1, his fathersH4428, kingsH3063of JudahH6942, had dedicated[H8689] H6944, and his own hallowed thingsH2091, and all the goldH4672that was found[H8737] H214in the treasuresH1004of the houseH3068of the LORDH4428, and in the king'sH1004houseH7971, and sent[H8799] H2371it to HazaelH4428kingH758of SyriaH5927: and he went away[H8799] H3389from Jerusalem.

¹⁹ H3499And the restH1697of the actsH3101of JoashH6213, and all that he did[H8804] H3789, are they not written[H8803] H5612in the bookH1697of the chroniclesH3117 H4428of the kingsH3063of Judah?
