I will tell God, ‘Do not condemn me. Show me why you contend with me.


If you, YHWH, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?


Don’t enter into judgment with your servant, for in your sight no man living is righteous.


Moses cried to YHWH, saying, “What should I do with these people? They are almost ready to stone me.”


Moses returned to YHWH, and said, “Lord, why have you brought trouble on this people? Why is it that you have sent me?


Woe is me, my mother, that you have borne me, a man of strife, and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have not lent, neither have men lent to me; yet every one of them curses me.


Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuses to be healed? Will you indeed be to me as a deceitful brook, like waters that fail?


Y’all have said, ‘It is futile to serve God,’ and ‘What profit is it that we have followed ʜɪꜱ instructions and that we have walked mournfully before YHWH Almighty?


Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, every man at the door of his tent; and YHWH’s anger burned greatly; and Moses was displeased.


If you treat me this way, please kill me right now, if I have found favor in your sight; and don’t let me see my wretchedness.”


Besides everything else, there is a daily pressure on me—my concern for all the churches.


But how can I bear y’all’s problems, burdens, and strife by myself?
