If they sin against you (for there is no man who doesn’t sin), and you are angry with them and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captive to the land of the enemy, far off or near;


Do you open your eyes on such a one, and bring me into judgment with you?


What is a human, that he should be pure? Or one born of a woman, that he should be righteous?


How then can a human be justified before God? Or how can one born of a woman be clean?


‘Can a mortal be more just than God? Can even a strong man be more pure than his Maker?


If you, YHWH, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?


maintaining lovingkindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and disobedience and sin. But ʜᴇ will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the grandchildren, to the third and fourth generation.”


Surely there is not a righteous person on earth who does good and never sins.


For by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified before ʜɪᴍ, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.


know that a human is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. We have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by the faithfulness of Christ and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.


If we say that we haven’t sinned, we make ʜɪᴍ a liar, and ʜɪꜱ word is not in us.
