But if they sin against thee (for there is no man who sinneth not) and thou being angry deliver them up to their enemies, so that they be led away captives into the land of their enemies far or near:


And dost thou think it meet to open thy eyes upon such an one, and to bring him into judgment with thee?


What is man that he should be without spot, and he that is born of a woman that he should appear just?


Can man be justified compared with God; or he that is born of a woman appear clean?


Shall man be justified in comparison of God; or shall a man be more pure than his maker?


Let Israel hope in the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.


Who keepest mercy unto thousands: who takest away iniquity, and wickedness, and sin, and no man of himself is innocent before thee. Who renderest the iniquity of the fathers to the children, and to the grandchildren, unto the third and fourth generation.


Wisdom hath strengthened the wise more than ten princes of the city.


Because by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified before him. For by the law is the knowledge of sin.


But knowing that man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ; we also believe in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.


If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
