And his fame spread abroad throughout all Syria. And they brought unto him all sick people, that were taken with divers diseases and gripings, and them that were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy. And he healed them.


And Iesus said unto him: the foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests, but the son of the man hath not whereon to lay his head.


And lo, they brought unto him a man sick of the palsy, lying in his bed. And when Iesus saw their faith, he said to the sick of the palsy: son be of good cheer, thy sins be forgiven thee.


Whether is easier to say, thy sins be forgiven thee, or to say: arise and walk?


And he arose and departed to his house.

how doth this fellow so blaspheme? Who can forgiven sins, but God only?


And the scribes, and the pharises, began to think saying: What fellow is this: which speaketh blasphemy? Who can forgive sins, but God only?


and I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.


As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.


And hath given him power also to judge in that he is the son of man.


¶ Iesus said unto him: rise, take up thy bed, and walk.


Him being a ruler and a saviour hath God exalted with his right hand, for to give repentance to Israhell and forgiveness of sins.


Then said Peter unto him: Eneas, the Lord Iesus Christ make thee whole: Arise and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.


To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also. And verily if I forgive any thing, to whom I forgave it for your sakes forgave I it, in the room of Christ,


¶ Now then are we messengers in the room of Christ: even as though God did beseech you thorow us: So pray we you in Christe's stead, that ye be at one with God:


Be ye courteous one to another, be merciful forgiving one another, even as God for Christe's sake forgave you.


forbearing one another, and forgiving one another (if any man have a quarrel to another) even as Christ forgave you, even so do ye.
