¶ Then Iesus went away from thence, and came nye unto the sea of Galilee, and went up in to a mountain, and sat down there.
And there followed him a great number of people, from Galilee, and from the ten cities, and from Ierusalem, and from Jury, and from the regions that lie beyond Iordan.
¶ And he went up into a mountain, and called unto him whom he would, and they came unto him.
¶ And they came unto house, and the people assembled together again, so greatly that they had not leisure so much as to eat bread.
¶ And he began again to teach by the seaside. And there gathered together unto him much people, so greatly that he entered in to a ship, and sat in the sea, and all the people was by the seaside on the shore:
¶ It fortuned in those days, he went out into a mountain for to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
¶ And he came down with them and stood in the plain field with the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all parts of Iurie and Ierusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases,
¶ And he lifted up his eyes upon the disciples, and said: Blessed are ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
¶ And it followed about an viij. days after those sayings, he took Peter, Iames, and Ihon, and went up into a mountain to pray.
Iesus knew well enough, that they would come, and take him up, to make him king: and therefore departed he again, into a mountain, himself alone.
