From that time forth, Iesus began to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Ierusalem, and suffer many things of the seniors, and of the high priests, and of the scribes, and must be killed, and rise again the third day.


¶ And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them saying: see that ye shew this vision to no man, til the son of man be risen again from death.


and shall deliver him to the gentiles, to be mocked, to be scourged, and to be crucified: and the third day he shall rise again.


and said: Sir, we remember, that this deceiver said while he was yet alive. After three days I will arise again,


And he began to declare unto them, how that the son of man must suffer many things, and should be reproved of the seniors and of the high priests and scribes, and should be killed, and after three days arise again.


¶ And they departed thence, and took their journey thorow Galile, and would not, that any man should have known it.


but because I have said such things unto you, your hearts are full of sorrow.


Iesus answered, and said unto them: destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up again.
