Simon Peter said unto him: Lord whither goest thou? Iesus answered him: whither I go thou canst not follow me now, thou shalt follow me afterwards.


¶ And now behold, I am sure that henceforth ye all (thorow whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God) shall see my face no more.


¶ We know surely if our earthy mansion wherein we now dwell were destroyed, that we have a building ordained of God, an habitation not made with hands, but eternal in heaven:


¶ For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departing is at hand.


Notwithstanding I think it mete (as long as I am in this tabernacle) to stir you up by putting you in remembrance,
