For the seven had her to wife. And Jesus answering said to them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?


He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. Ye therefore greatly err.


And in these days, Peter standing up in the midst of the disciples, (the number of persons together was about an hundred and twenty) said,


Know ye not, that the unjust shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate,


Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that also shall he reap.


Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but much more now in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.


Therefore, my brethren, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my beloved.


And this I say, that no man may beguile you with inticing words.


Beware lest any man make a prey of you through philosophy and empty deceit, after the traditions of men, after the rudiments of this world, and not after Christ.


Who have erred from the faith, saying, The resurrection is already past, and overthrow the faith of some.


Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.


My brethren, count it all joy, when ye fall into divers temptations, Knowing that the trying of your faith worketh patience.


My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. For if there come into your assembly a man with a gold ring,


What doth it profit, my brethren, tho' a man say he hath faith, and have not works?


Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world, rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom, which he hath promised to them that love him?


My brethren, be not many teachers, knowing that we shall receive greater condemnation.


Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.


Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law. But if thou judgest the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.


But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath; but let your yea be yea, and your nay nay, lest ye fall into condemnation.


Brethren, if any one among you err from the truth, and one convert him,
