For I say to you, That unless your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven.


He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.


But he that heareth, and doth not, is like a man that built an house without a foundation upon the earth: against which the stream broke vehemently, and immediately it fell: and the breach of that house was great.


And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.


And Simon himself believed also; and being baptized, he continued with Philip, and was astonished, beholding the signs and mighty miracles which were done.


Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right before God.


Circumcision indeed profiteth, if thou keepest the law; but if thou art a transgressor of the law, thy circumcision is become uncircumcision.


By which also ye are saved, if ye retain what I preached to you, unless ye have believed in vain.


The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.


Brethren, ye have been called to liberty: only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.


For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but faith which worketh by love.


Remembring without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of our God and Father:


Whereas the end of the commandment is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience, and faith unfeigned,


For bodily exercise profiteth a little; but godliness is profitable for all things, having the promise of the present life, and of that which is to come.


They profess to know God, but by their works they deny him, being abominable and disobedient, and void of judgment as to every good work.


This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, to the end that they who have believed in God, be careful to excel in good works: these things are good and profitable to men.


By faith Abraham, being tried, offered up Isaac, and he that had received the promises, offered up his only begotten son:


Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines; for it is good, that the heart be stablished with grace, not with meats, in which they that have walked have not been profited.


Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,


and want daily food, And one of you say to them, Depart in peace; be ye warmed and filled, but give them not the things needful for the body, what doth it profit?


But one will say, Thou hast faith, and I have works. Shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.


Therefore as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.


For this very reason giving all diligence, add to your faith courage,
