In the night I remember Your Name, Adonai, and keep watching over Your Torah.
I will praise You with an upright heart as I learn Your righteous judgments.
You have examined my heart. You searched me at night. Though You test me, You find nothing. I resolved that my mouth will not sin.
My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? Distant from my salvation are the words of my groaning.
Deep calls to deep in the roar of Your waterfalls. All Your waves and breakers have swept over me.

You planted them, so they have taken root. They are growing, bearing fruit. You are near in their mouth, yet far from their mind.
I Adonai search the heart, I try the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.
