He will shake off his unripe grapes like a vine, and cast off his blossoms like an olive tree.


I am a rose of Sharon, a lily of the valleys.


Yes, He will hack down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon with its majesty will fall.


Even the cypress trees rejoice over you, along with the cedars of Lebanon: “Since you were laid low, no woodcutter comes up against us.”

Behold, Adonai makes the land empty and makes it waste, twists its face, and scatters its inhabitants.


But I will distress Ariel. There will be lamenting and moaning— then will she be like Ariel to Me?


Her gates will lament and mourn. Desolate, she will sit on the ground.
