Then Naaman said, “If not, I pray you, let there be given to your servant two mules' burden of earth; for henceforth your servant will not offer burnt offering or sacrifice to any god but the Lord.


“And when I passed by you, and saw you weltering in your blood, I said to you in your blood, ‘Live,


And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land; then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken, and I have done it, says the Lord.”


Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.”


Behold, he whose soul is not upright in him shall fail, but the righteous shall live by his faith.


Though I scattered them among the nations, yet in far countries they shall remember me, and with their children they shall live and return.


to grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve him without fear,


Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me, has eternal life; he does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.


As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me.


I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?


We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the sinful body might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.


And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.


Whatever your task, work heartily, as serving the Lord and not men,


who died for us so that whether we wake or sleep we might live with him.


who gave himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.


For this is why the gospel was preached even to the dead, that though judged in the flesh like men, they might live in the spirit like God.


In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.


and the living one; I died, and behold I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.
