When thou sendest forth thy Spirit, they are created; and thou renewest the face of the ground.


Awake, O north wind, and come, O south wind! Blow upon my garden, let its fragrance be wafted abroad. Let my beloved come to his garden, and eat its choicest fruits.


And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land; then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken, and I have done it, says the Lord.”


Again he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.


Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live.


And as I looked, there were sinews on them, and flesh had come upon them, and skin had covered them; but there was no breath in them.


And when he has arisen, his kingdom shall be broken and divided toward the four winds of heaven, but not to his posterity, nor according to the dominion with which he ruled; for his kingdom shall be plucked up and go to others besides these.


Shall I ransom them from the power of Sheol? Shall I redeem them from Death? O Death, where are your plagues? O Sheol, where is your destruction? Compassion is hid from my eyes.


And the angel answered me, “These are going forth to the four winds of heaven, after presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth.


The wind blows where it wills, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know whence it comes or whither it goes; so it is with every one who is born of the Spirit.”


And I was told, “You must again prophesy about many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.”


But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.
