King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came to the city, while his servants were besieging it;


With the burial of a donkey he shall be buried— dragged off and thrown out beyond the gates of Jerusalem.


The Lord's anointed, the breath of our life, was taken in their pits— the one of whom we said, “Under his shadow we shall live among the nations.”
