I, I am He who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.


I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.


It was always so: the cloud covered it by day and the appearance of fire by night.


“Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel,” which means, “God is with us.”


On that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.


I in them and you in me, that they may become completely one, so that the world may know that you have sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.


For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead!

Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is great: He was revealed in flesh, vindicated in spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among Gentiles, believed in throughout the world, taken up in glory.


In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
