How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger who announces peace, who brings good news, who announces salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”


Peace, peace, to the far and the near, says the Lord; and I will heal them.


and one sheep from every flock of two hundred, from the pastures of Israel. This is the offering for grain offerings, burnt offerings, and offerings of well-being, to make atonement for them, says the Lord God.


“Seventy weeks are decreed for your people and your holy city: to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.


But no sin offering shall be eaten from which any blood is brought into the tent of meeting for atonement in the holy place; it shall be burned with fire.


Whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house!’


and that repentance and forgiveness of sins is to be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.


“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.


John answered, “No one can receive anything except what has been given from heaven.


You know the message he sent to the people of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ—he is Lord of all.


For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.


Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,


He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,


For just as woman came from man, so man comes through woman; but all things come from God.


and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone.


What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you came to believe, as the Lord assigned to each.


yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.


he has now reconciled in his fleshly body through death, so as to present you holy and blameless and irreproachable before him—


Therefore he had to become like his brothers and sisters in every respect, so that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make a sacrifice of atonement for the sins of the people.


Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.


and he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.


In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
