Behold, I send to you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the day of Jehovah, great and terrible:

Behold, I send to you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the day of Jehovah, great and terrible:
And he said to his servants, This is John the Baptist; be was aroused from the dead; and for this, powers are energetic in him.
In these days John the Baptist is present, proclaiming in the desert of Judea;
And king Herod heard his name; (for it was manifest:) and said, That John the Immerser was raised from the dead, and for this the powers were energetic in him.
Others amid, That he is Elias. And others said, That he is a prophet, or as one of the prophets.
And it was in his being alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom do the crowds say me to be?
And he said to them, And whom say ye me to be? And Peter having answered said, The Christ of God.
And they asked, What then? Art thou Elias? And he says, I am not. Art thou a prophet? And he answered, No.
And they asked him, and said to him, Why immersest thou then, if thou art not Christ, neither Elias, neither a prophet?
Then many of the crowd, having heard the word, said, This is truly a prophet.
They say to the blind again, What sayest thou of him, for he opened thine eyes? He said, That he is a prophet.
