When he was in distress, he begged the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.
His prayer also, and how [God] was entreated of him, and all his sin and his trespass, and the places in which he built high places, and set up the Asherim and the engraved images, before he humbled himself: behold, they are written in the history of Hozai.
He didn't humble himself before the LORD, as Menasheh his father had humbled himself; but this same Amon trespassed more and more.
because your heart was tender, and you did humble yourself before God, when you heard his words against this place, and against the inhabitants of it, and have humbled yourself before me, and have torn your clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard you, says the LORD.

The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor, than to divide the plunder with the proud.
*Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways.
Therefore the LORD will wait, that he may be gracious to you; and therefore he will be exalted, that he may have mercy on you, for the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him.

*But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.
But Yeshua said, *Allow the little children, and don't forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.*
Then the King will tell those on his right hand, 'Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;
I tell you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Avraham, Yitzchak, and Ya`akov in the Kingdom of Heaven,

You shall remember all the way which the LORD your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, to prove you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his mitzvot, or not.
and the rich, in that he is made humble, because like the flower in the grass, he will pass away.
Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him.
Listen, my beloved brothers. Didn't God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which he promised to those who love him?
He said to me, *Write, 'Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'* He said to me, *These are true words of God.*
Blessed are those who do his mitzvot, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.
Because you say, 'I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing;' and don't know that you are the wretched one, miserable, poor, blind, and naked;
