I will also speak of your statutes before kings, and will not be disappointed.


The heart of the righteous weighs answers, but the mouth of the wicked gushes out evil.


To teach you truth, reliable words, to give sound answers to the ones who sent you?


*Come now, and let us reason together,* says the LORD: *Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.


But when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in the midst of him, they will sanctify my name. Yes, they will sanctify the Holy One of Ya`akov, and will stand in awe of the God of Yisra'el.


Produce your cause,* says the LORD. *Bring forth your strong reasons,* says the King of Ya`akov.


but the LORD of Armies is exalted in justice, and God the Holy One is sanctified in righteousness.


*Don't say, 'A conspiracy!' concerning all about which this people say, 'A conspiracy!' neither fear their threats, nor be terrorized.

Therefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Messiah, let us press on to perfection--not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God,


If you call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judges according to each man's work, pass the time of your living as foriegners here in reverent fear:


seeing your pure behavior in fear.


but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious.


Now therefore stand still, that I may plead with you before the LORD concerning all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your fathers.
