That person is confident.\par He will not be afraid.\par He will defeat his enemies.\par
That person freely gives things\par to poor people.\par And his goodness will continue forever.\par
That person will enjoy good things,\par and his children will keep the land \{God promised to give him\}.\par
Wait for the Lord’s help!\par Be strong and brave,\par and wait for the Lord’s help!\par
If you trust the Lord and do good things,\par you will live and enjoy the many things\par that the land gives.\par

Just look, and you will see that those\par wicked people are punished!\par
Good people live their lives trying to stay away from evil. The person who is careful with his life, is guarding his soul.
If someone does something against you, don’t try to punish him yourself. Wait for the Lord! In the end, he will make you the winner.
If evil people are ruling the nation, then sin will be everywhere. But good people will win in the end.
When you need help,\par you cry to those false gods\par that you have gathered around you.\par Let them help you!\par But I tell you,\par the wind will blow them all away.\par A puff of wind will blow them all away.\par But the person that depends on me\par will get the land \{I promised\}.\par That person will have my holy mountain. {\cf2\super [445]} \par
Every person that makes himself important will be made humble. But the person that makes himself humble will be made important.”
You must live the way the Lord your God commanded you. Then you will continue to live, and everything will be fine with you. You will live a long life in the land that will belong to you.
Why do these troubles happen? To prove that your faith is pure (true). This purity of faith is worth more than gold. Gold can be proved to be pure by fire, but gold will ruin. The purity of your faith will bring you praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ appears (comes).
So be humble under God’s powerful hand. Then he will lift you up when the right time comes.
