The Lord helps blind people see again.\par The Lord helps people who are in trouble.\par The Lord loves good people.\par


The deaf will hear the words in the book. The blind will see through the darkness and fog.


Then I will lead the blind people\par in a way they never knew.\par I will lead the blind people\par to places they have never been before.\par I will change darkness into light for them.\par And I will make the rough ground smooth.\par I will do the things I promised!\par And I will not leave my people.\par


“You deaf people should hear me!\par You blind people should look and see me!\par


We are like people without eyes.\par We walk into walls like blind people.\par We stumble and fall like it is night.\par Even in the daylight we can’t see.\par At noontime we fall like dead men.\par


While the farmer was planting, some seed fell by the road. The birds came and ate all that seed.


A Canaanite woman from that area came to Jesus. The woman shouted, “Lord, Son of David, {\cf2\super [211]} please help me! My daughter has a demon {\cf2\super [212]} inside her, and she is suffering very much.”


All the people criticized the blind men. They told the blind men not to speak. But the blind men shouted more and more, “Lord, Son of David, {\cf2\super [278]} please help us!”


Some blind people and some crippled people came to Jesus in the temple {\cf2\super [289]} area. Jesus healed these people.


Some of the people were walking ahead of Jesus. Other people were walking behind Jesus. The people shouted,


Jesus said, “What do you think about the Christ {\cf2\super [322]} ? Whose son is he?”


Then they came to the town of Jericho. Jesus was leaving that town with his followers and many other people. A blind man named Bartimaeus (son of Timaeus) was sitting by the road. This man was always begging for money.


“The Spirit of the Lord (God) has come to me.\par God chose me to tell good news to people\par that are poor.\par God sent me to tell people who are\par prisoners that they are free,\par and to tell the blind people\par that they can see again.\par God sent me to free the weak people\par from their suffering\par


At that time, Jesus healed many people of their sicknesses, diseases, and evil spirits \{from the devil\}. Jesus healed many blind people so that they could see again.


David was a prophet {\cf2\super [33]} and knew something God said. God promised David that he would make a person from David’s family to be a king like David. {\cf2\super [34]}
