The news about Jesus spread all over Syria. And people brought all the sick people to Jesus. These sick people were suffering from different kinds of diseases and pain. Some people were suffering with very bad pain, some people had demons {\cf2\super [55]} inside them, some people were epileptics, {\cf2\super [56]} and some people were paralyzed (crippled). Jesus healed all these people.
That evening people brought to Jesus many people that had demons {\cf2\super [94]} inside them. Jesus spoke and the demons left the people. Jesus healed all the people that were sick.
Jesus did these things to make happen what Isaiah the prophet {\cf2\super [95]} said:
Jesus and his followers went to Capernaum. {\cf2\super [11]} On the Sabbath day {\cf2\super [12]} Jesus went into the synagogue {\cf2\super [13]} and taught the people.
So Jesus went to her bed. Jesus held her hand and helped her stand up. The fever left her, and she was healed. Then she began serving them.
Some Jews there were watching Jesus closely. They were waiting to see if he would heal the man on a Sabbath day. {\cf2\super [41]} They wanted to see Jesus do something wrong so that they could accuse him.
When the sun went down, the people brought their sick friends to Jesus. They had many different kinds of sickness. Jesus put his hands on each sick person and healed them.
Demons {\cf2\super [83]} came out of many people. The demons shouted, “You are the Son of God.” But Jesus gave a strong command for the demons not to speak, because they knew Jesus was the Christ. {\cf2\super [84]}
