The bad things that happened to us are our own fault. We have done evil things, and we have much guilt. But you, our God, have punished us much less than we should have been. If even powerful people do bad things\par God does not need to ask questions.\par God will simply destroy those people,\par and choose other people to be leaders.\par
A person can’t argue with God!\par God could ask 1,000 questions and\par no person could answer even one!\par

This is what the Lord says:\par “Do you think that I was not fair\par to your ancestors {\cf2\super [4]} ?\par Is that why they turned away from me?\par Your ancestors worshiped worthless idols,\par and they became worthless themselves.\par
\{Don’t ask that.\} You are only people. And people have no right to question God. A clay jar does not question the man that made it. The jar does not say, “Why did you make me like this?”
