Remember the wonderful things\par that the Lord has done.\par Remember his decisions\par and the powerful things he has done.\par


Remember the things that happened long ago. Remember that I am God. There is no other God. Those false gods are not like me.


“I will make a new heaven and a new earth.\par People will not remember the past.\par They won’t remember any of those things.\par


That old agreement had glory. But it really loses its glory when it is compared to the much greater glory \{of the new agreement\}.


We have small troubles for a while now, but those troubles are helping us gain an eternal glory. That eternal glory is much greater than the troubles.


You must not be afraid of them. You must remember what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all the people of Egypt.


And you must remember the whole trip that the Lord your God has led you through these 40 years in the desert. The Lord was testing you. He wanted to make you humble. He wanted to know the things in your heart. He wanted to know if you would obey his commands.
