And we will do this if God allows.
And this will we do, if God permit.
If indeed God permits, we will [now] proceed [to advanced teaching].

Paul left them and said, “I will come back to you again if God wants me to.” And so Paul sailed away from Ephesus.
Then, if God wants me to, I will come to you. I will come with joy, and together you and I will have a time of rest.
I don’t want to come see you now, because I would have to leave to go to other places. I hope to stay a longer time with you if the Lord allows it.
But I will come to you very soon. I will come, if the Lord wants me to. Then I will see what these boasters can do, not what they can say.
So you should say, “If the Lord wants, we will live and do this or that.”
