Hamor was the king of that land. His son Shechem saw Dinah. Shechem kidnapped her and raped her.


Shechem told his father, “Please get this girl for me so that I can marry her.”


So don’t be afraid. I will take care of you and your children.” In this way, Joseph said nice things to his brothers. This made his brothers feel good.
