The Lord God caused to grow out of the ground every tree pleasing in appearance and good for food, including the tree of life in the middle of the garden,  as well as the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.


The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, but a cunning person takes lives.


Hope delayed makes the heart sick, but desire fulfilled is a tree of life.


The tongue that heals is a tree of life, but a devious tongue  breaks the spirit.


She is a tree of life  to those who embrace her, and those who hold on to her are happy.


You were in Eden,  the garden of God. Every kind of precious stone covered you: carnelian, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, lapis lazuli, turquoise  and emerald. Your mountings and settings were crafted in gold; they were prepared on the day you were created.


The cedars in God’s garden could not eclipse it; the pine trees couldn’t compare with its branches, nor could the plane trees match its boughs. No tree in the garden of God could compare with it in beauty.
