He will be their peace. When Assyria invades our land, when it marches against our fortresses, we will raise against it seven shepherds, even eight leaders of men.


Just then  some men  brought to him a paralytic lying on a stretcher. Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic, ‘Have courage, son, your sins are forgiven.’


Blessed is the King   who comes in the name of the Lord.   , Peace in heaven and glory  in the highest heaven!


Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth  to people he favours!  ,,


Now is the judgement of this world.   Now the ruler of this world   will be cast out.


‘Don’t let your heart be troubled.   Believe   in God;   believe also in me.


‘Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Don’t let your heart be troubled or fearful.


and about judgement,   because the ruler of this world   has been judged.

So the church  throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers.

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice.  Become mature, be encouraged,  be of the same mind,  be at peace,  and the God of love  and peace will be with you.


But thanks be to God,  who always leads us in Christ’s triumphal procession and through us spreads the aroma of the knowledge of him in every place.


Now we have this treasure in clay jars, so that this extraordinary power  may be from God and not from us.
