The king of Israel answered, ‘Say this: “Don’t let the one who puts on his armour boast  like the one who takes it off.” ’


‘What’s more,’ Haman added, ‘Queen Esther invited no one but me to join the king at the banquet she had prepared. I am invited again tomorrow to join her with the king.


Yet no one knows what will happen  because who can tell him what will happen?


‘Come, let me get some wine, let’s guzzle some beer; and tomorrow will be like today, only far better! ’


For he says: At an acceptable time I listened to you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.   , See, now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation!


The Lord will also hand Israel over to the Philistines along with you. Tomorrow you and your sons will be with me,  , and the Lord will hand Israel’s army over to the Philistines.’
