If any male is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that man will be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant.’


Anyone who blends something like it or puts some of it on an unauthorised person must be cut off  from his people.’


‘You must keep the Israelites from their uncleanness, so that they do not die by defiling my tabernacle  that is among them.


But if he does not wash his clothes and bathe himself, he will bear his iniquity.’


No man of Aaron’s descendants who has a skin disease  or a discharge is to eat from the holy offerings until he is clean. Whoever touches anything made unclean by a dead person or by a man who has an emission of semen,


‘But the person who acts defiantly,  whether native or resident foreigner, blasphemes the Lord.  That person is to be cut off from his people.


Anyone who touches a body of a person who has died, and does not purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of the Lord. That person will be cut off from Israel. He remains unclean because the water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him, and his uncleanness is still on him.


‘But the man who is ceremonially clean, is not on a journey, and yet fails to observe the Passover is to be cut off from his people, because he did not present the Lord’s offering at its appointed time. That man will bear the consequences of his sin.


Whoever believes   and is baptised will be saved,   but whoever does not believe will be condemned.


Therefore, dear friends, while you wait for these things, make every effort to be found without spot or blemish in his sight, at peace.


Let the unrighteous go on in unrighteousness; let the filthy still be filthy; let the righteous go on in righteousness; let the holy still be holy.’
