Mark 2:1
13 Tagairtí Cros

He left Nazareth and went to live in Capernaum  by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali.

So he got into a boat, crossed over, and came to his own town.

Yet he went out and began to proclaim  it widely and to spread the news,  with the result that Jesus could no longer enter a town openly. But he was out in deserted places, and they came to him from everywhere.

So many people gathered together that there was no more room, not even in the doorway, and he was speaking the word  to them.

Jesus entered a house, and the crowd gathered again so that they were not even able to eat.

When he went into the house away from the crowd, his disciples asked him about the parable.

He got up and departed from  there to the region of Tyre.  , He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it, but he could not escape notice.

After he had gone into the house, his disciples asked him privately, ‘Why couldn’t we drive it out? ’

Then he said to them, ‘No doubt you will quote this proverb   to me: “Doctor, heal yourself. What we’ve heard that took place in Capernaum,   do here in your home town also.” ’

Just then some men came,  carrying on a stretcher a man who was paralysed. They tried to bring him in and set him down before him.

When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea  into Galilee, he went to him and pleaded with him to come down and heal his son, since he was about to die.

When this sound occurred, a crowd came together and was confused because each one heard them speaking in his own language.
