He went to his home town  and began to teach them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, ‘Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?


He left Nazareth and went to live in Capernaum  by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali.


Now Jesus began to go all over Galilee,  teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every  disease and sickness  among the people.


He  left there and came to his home town,  and his disciples  followed him.


When they had completed everything according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth.


Then he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was obedient to them. His mother kept all these things in her heart.


He came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up.  As usual, he entered the synagogue on the Sabbath day  and stood up to read.


Then he went down to Capernaum,  a town in Galilee, and was teaching them on the Sabbath.


But Jesus rebuked him  and said, ‘Be silent and come out of him! ’   And throwing him down before them, the demon came out of him without hurting him at all.


Or how can you say to your brother, “Brother, let me take out the splinter that is in your eye,” when you yourself don’t see the beam of wood in your eye? Hypocrite! First take the beam of wood out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the splinter in your brother’s eye.


Then the woman left her water jar, went into town, and told the people,


From now on, then, we do not know anyone from a worldly perspective.  Even if we have known Christ from a worldly perspective,  yet now we no longer know him in this way.
