Do not take revenge  or bear a grudge against members of your community, but love your neighbour as yourself;  I am the Lord.


You will regard the foreigner who resides with you as the native-born among you. You are to love him as yourself,  for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt;  I am the Lord your God.


But I tell you, love your enemies   and pray for those who   persecute you,


‘This is what I command you: Love one another.


May they all be one,   as you, Father, are in me and I am in you.   May they also be   in us, so that the world may believe you sent me.


Love one another deeply as brothers and sisters.  Take the lead in honouring one another.


Love does no wrong to a neighbour. Love, therefore, is the fulfilment of the law.


Do not owe anyone anything, except to love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.


But the fruit of the Spirit  is love,  joy,  peace, patience,  kindness,  goodness, faithfulness,


For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith  working through love.


Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us work  for the good  of all, especially for those who belong to the household  of faith.


Carry one another’s burdens; in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.


and walk in love, as Christ also loved us and gave himself for us,  a sacrificial and fragrant offering to God.


for we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints


And may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow with love  for one another  and for everyone, just as we do for you.


We ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, since your faith is flourishing and the love  each one of you has for one another  is increasing.


Indeed, if you fulfil the royal law prescribed in the Scripture, Love your neighbour as yourself,  , you are doing well.


Since you have purified yourselves by your obedience to the truth,  so that you show sincere brotherly love for each other,  from a pure  heart love one another constantly,  ,


godliness with brotherly affection,  and brotherly affection with love.


For this is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another,


Now this is his command: that we believe in the name  of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another as he commanded us.


And we have this command from him: The one who loves God must also love his brother and sister.


So now I ask you, dear lady #– #not as if I were writing you a new command, but one we have had from the beginning #– #that we love one another.
