I would be as I was in the days of my youth when God’s friendship rested on my tent,
for the devious are detestable to the Lord, but he is a friend to the upright.
For who has stood in the council of the Lord to see and hear his word? Who has paid attention to his word and obeyed?
Indeed, the Lord God does nothing without revealing his counsel to his servants the prophets.

Oh, the depth of the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgements and untraceable his ways!
For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counsellor?
For who has known the Lord’s mind, that he may instruct him? , But we have the mind of Christ.
The hidden things belong to the Lord our God, but the revealed things belong to us and our children for ever, so that we may follow all the words of this law.
