The sons of the prophets said to Elisha, ‘Please notice that the place where we live under your supervision is too small for us.
For when he sees his children, the work of my hands within his nation, they will honour my name, they will honour the Holy One of Jacob and stand in awe of the God of Israel.
For the Lord will comfort Zion; he will comfort all her waste places, and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and melodious song.
Raise your eyes and look round: they all gather and come to you; your sons will come from far away, and your daughters on the hips of nursing mothers.
