After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and doubled his previous possessions.

As for you, my servant Jacob, do not be afraid – this is the  Lord’s declaration – and do not be discouraged, Israel, for without fail I will save you out of a distant place, your descendants from the land of their captivity! Jacob will return and have calm and quiet with no one to frighten him.

For this is what the Lord of Armies, the God of Israel, says: Daughter Babylon is like a threshing-floor at the time it is trampled. In just a little while her harvest time will come.

But they do not know the  Lord’s intentions or understand his plan, that he has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing-floor.

The coastland will belong to the remnant of the house of Judah; they will find pasture there. They will lie down in the evening among the houses of Ashkelon, for the Lord their God will return to them and restore their fortunes.

Another angel came out of the temple, crying out in a loud voice to the one who was seated on the cloud, ‘Use your sickle and reap, for the time to reap has come, since the harvest of the earth is ripe.’
