Then God said, ‘Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night. They will serve as signs  for seasons  and for days and years.


Then God said, ‘Let the water swarm with  living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.’


By his breath the heavens gained their beauty; his hand pierced the fleeing serpent.  ,


He saturates clouds with moisture; he scatters his lightning through them.


can you help God spread out the skies as hard as a cast metal mirror?


If the clouds are full, they will pour out rain on the earth; whether a tree falls to the south or the north, the place where the tree falls, there it will lie.


God is enthroned above the circle of the earth; its inhabitants are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like thin cloth and spreads them out like a tent to live in.


But the Lord is the true God; he is the living God  and eternal King. The earth quakes at his wrath, and the nations cannot endure his fury.


He made the earth by his power, established the world  by his wisdom, and spread out the heavens by his understanding.


A pronouncement: The word of the Lord concerning Israel. A declaration of the  Lord, who stretched out the heavens, laid the foundation of the earth, and formed the spirit of man within him.


They deliberately overlook this: By the word of God  the heavens came into being long ago and the earth was brought about from water and through water.
