In a little while, the sky grew dark with clouds and wind, and there was a downpour. So Ahab got in his chariot and went to Jezreel.


Give a portion to seven or even to eight, for you don’t know what disaster may happen on earth.


One who watches the wind will not sow, and the one who looks at the clouds will not reap.


The axe is already at the root of the trees. Therefore, every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.


He told the vineyard worker, “Listen, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down!   Why should it even waste the soil? ”


If anyone has this world’s goods  and sees a fellow believer  in need  but withholds compassion  from him #– #how does God’s love reside in him?
