Enoch walked with God; then he was not there because God took him.


The time had come for the Lord to take Elijah up to heaven  in a whirlwind.  Elijah and Elisha  were travelling from Gilgal,


Then Elisha prayed, ‘Lord, please open his eyes and let him see.’ So the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he saw that the mountain was covered with horses and chariots of fire  all around Elisha.


Are you angry at the rivers,  Lord? Is your wrath against the rivers? Or is your fury against the sea when you ride on your horses, your victorious chariot?


‘Listen, High Priest Joshua, you and your colleagues sitting before you; indeed, these men are a sign that I am about to bring my servant, the Branch.


So the Lord Jesus, after speaking to them,  was taken up into heaven  and sat down at the right hand  of God.


Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve those who are going to inherit salvation?


Then they heard  a loud voice from heaven saying to them, ‘Come up here.’ They went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies watched them.
