The Spirit   is the one who gives life. The flesh doesn’t help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.


You will know the truth,   and the truth will set you free.’


because the law  of the Spirit of life  in Christ Jesus has set you  free from the law  of sin and death.


So it is written, The first man Adam became a living being;  , the last Adam  became a life-giving spirit.


We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at  , the glory of the Lord  and are being transformed  into the same image  from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.


He has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant,  not of the letter,  but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.


And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son  into our  hearts, crying, ‘Abba,  Father! ’


For freedom, Christ set us free. Stand firm,  then, and don’t submit again to a yoke of slavery.


For you were called  to be free, brothers and sisters; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity  for the flesh, but serve one another through love.


For God has not given us a spirit of fear,  but one of power,  , love,  and sound judgement.
