The Lord informed me, so I knew. Then you helped me to see their deeds,
No creature is hidden from him, but all things are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give an account.
So the men of Judah said, ‘Why have you attacked us? ’ They replied, ‘We have come to tie Samson up and pay him back for what he did to us.’
Will the citizens of Keilah hand me over to him? Will Saul come down as your servant has heard? Lord God of Israel, please tell your servant.’ The Lord answered, ‘He will come down.’
So now, whenever the king wants to come down, let him come down. As for us, we will be glad to hand him over to the king.’
When it was reported to Saul that David had gone to Keilah, he said, ‘God has handed him over to me, for he has trapped himself by entering a town with barred gates.’
