Who can find a wife of noble character?  , She is far more precious than jewels.


Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the  Lord will be praised.


Abandon your fatherless; I will preserve them; let your widows trust in me.


and was a widow for eighty-four years.  She did not leave the temple, serving God night and day with fasting and prayers.


They all were continually united  in prayer,  along with the women, including Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.


In Joppa  there was a disciple named Tabitha (which is translated Dorcas). She was always doing good works  and acts of charity.


To sum up, each one of you is to love his wife as himself, and the wife is to respect her husband.


but with good works,  as is proper for women who profess to worship God.


But she will be saved through childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and holiness,  with good sense.


and is well known for good works   #– #that is, if she has brought up children, shown hospitality,  washed the saints’ feet,  helped the afflicted,  and devoted herself to every good work.


The widow who is truly in need and left all alone has put her hope in God  and continues night and day in her petitions and prayers;


By faith even Sarah herself, when she was unable to have children, received power to conceive offspring, even though she was past the age, since she  considered that the one who had promised was faithful.


Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Because of his great mercy  he has given us new birth  into a living hope  through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
