We will cut logs from Lebanon, as many as you need, and bring them to you as rafts by sea to Joppa. You can then take them up to Jerusalem.


They gave money to the stonecutters and craftsmen, and gave food, drink, and oil to the people of Sidon and Tyre, so they would bring cedar wood from Lebanon to Joppa by sea,  according to the authorisation given them by King Cyrus of Persia.


A loving deer, a graceful doe   – let her breasts always satisfy you; be lost in her love for ever.


My love is like a gazelle or a young stag. See, he is standing behind our wall, gazing through the windows, peering through the lattice.

Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples heard that Peter was there and sent two men to him who urged him, ‘Don’t delay in coming with us.’


This became known throughout Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.


For we are his workmanship, created  in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance  for us to do.

so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work  and growing in the knowledge of God,


In fact, you are doing this towards all the brothers and sisters in the entire region of Macedonia.  But we encourage you, brothers and sisters, to do this even more,
