Psalm 113

¹ Praise the Lord!\par Servants of the Lord, praise him!\par Praise the Lord’s name.\par

² May the Lord’s name be blessed,\par now and forever more.\par

³ May the Lord’s name be praised\par from the rising sun in the east\par to the place where the sun goes down.\par

⁴ The Lord is higher than all nations.\par His glory rises to the skies.\par

⁵ No person is like the Lord our God.\par God sits high in heaven.\par

⁶ \{God is so high above us\}\par that he must look down\par to see the sky and the earth,\par

⁷ God lifts poor people out of the dirt.\par God takes beggars from the garbage dump.\par

⁸ And God makes those people important.\par God makes those people important leaders.\par

⁹ A woman might not have children.\par But God will give children to her\par and make her happy.\par Praise the Lord!\par \par \par
